What I remember most about sitting on the porch with Tom and Fritz was the pride that they have in their piece of land. When we spoke with them they were in their late 80’s/early 90’s and maintaining the entire property themselves. At times they seemed worried about the fate of the land after they pass and that cast a cloud on what was overall a really happy and positive conversation. I hope that their kids and grandkids find a way to keep the land in the family and preserve their history.
